Snow? In Tracy? California has had a cold spell and wet weather. The magic combination brought the snow level down to the valley. I stepped outside my door this morning to find large snowflakes falling on my grass. Unfortunately, nothing stuck to the grass. The last time there was snow in Tracy like this was 1976! The Altamont Pass, however, had a really good dusting of snow. The cold weather and clouds helped to keep the snow on the ground from melting. The scene at the top of the Altamont at noon today was beautiful. Unfortunately, nothing stuck to the grass. The last time there was snow in Tracy like this was 1976!

The Altamont Pass, however, had a really good dusting of snow. The cold weather and clouds helped to keep the snow on the ground from melting. The scene at the top of the Altamont at noon today was beautiful.
